    I did that and honestly, most of the things listed were either disabled or n/a. BUT... I did see something interesting:

    Microsoft\Windows\SystemRestore --- Next Run: 8/2/12:00:00am --- Status: Unknown

    That seems like another big clue.

    That's the task that ensures you have at least one RP per week. I don't like the unknown status though.

    For "Status unknown" there is very little information. In one case I saw, the cause was a faulty RAM module (Dimm). But that may not apply at all to you. I am stumped.

    Have you tried to duplicate the task from scratch and see what you get?

    Create a task of your own duplicating all the tasks settings. It may be that the real one has become corrupted somehow and you may be able to replace it.
