How to delete an old backup from another computer

    hello.
on an old computer, i set up backup onto a WD portable hdd
and i only backed up 2 times (there are 2 dates to choose from)

but now, i dont have that computer (the mobo's dead) and i was wondering, how can i delete the backup from the portable hdd?

there's 3 things regarding the backup
there's the WindowsImageBackup folder which holds all teh data
there's the actual program that runs the backup (the icon is the restore icon)
and there is a folder with a bunch of letters and numbers

i was wondering if there was an official way to delete it like through windows
or should i just shift delete the 3 items

    Hello Joseph,

Yes, you should be able to just delete them like any other file or folder. You may need to open the folder and all subfolders first to allow "Permission" first, before it will let you delete them.

If that's all that's on the HDD, you could also do a quick format to clear the HDD.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
