    Problems with Windows 7 Backup and Restore


    Just installed build 7600 today and I've been having problems restoring the files backup I made. Everything restores fine except for anything that was in the Program Files folder. When I look at the error log at the end, I get like 100,000 lines of things similar to this.

    Restore skipped restoring the file: C:\Program Files\Adobe to original location.

    I think I've figured out why. Everytime I try to change or delete anything in Program Files I get access is denied. You need permission from... Looks to me like Windows looked itself out. And nothing I do grants me permission to the folder. I've changed owership from TrustInstaller to myself, but it keeps telling me I need permission from Tony-PC/Tony, which is me... I've given myself full control over the files and still it won't let me touch them.

    Does backup do backups of installed program?
    Does it mean that when you installed 7600 you wont have to install all the programs again you will simple restore from backup?
