    Backup

I am not sure this is your problem but it is worth looking into for the amount of time it takes.
Win stores an image to a location of your choice. Say drive H:\. It will then make a directory with the computer name in my case it would be H:\HomeII. Check that directory for security settings and give your self (The account you are using) full privleges. See if that fixes it.

One other thing If you have previously created an image that directory exists and if you are succesful it will write over it. If you wish to save that image rename the directory and Win will create a new one. Then you will have more that one image.

Thanks for the help but I have tried 2 more times.
The first time I received a :Windows 7 Mapping Network Drive Error: "Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found" error and the second time I received a : Unable to create image: 0x8078002A and I/O device error(0x8007045D) error.
I am currently doing a disk check on my D and F drive using my wifes laptop as I don't want my power hungry PC running all night in the hope it will fix it but can anyone help if it doesn't? My OS is on a SSD and it passed the check.
Also all drives are connected using SATA and the D and F drive are both 1TB. Also the image fails at the same spot about 1/4 from the finish.
    Thanks.
