Solved Issue with restoring Win image from last may ?

I may have to restore a Win 7 Pro 32bit machine to a May image to resolve on going problems. Unfortuately..I have deleted any other images by accident that were working images prior to the current system problems....so the only current images contain the problems I'm trying to repair.

Question is...I have multiple images/backups of the current state of the PC...there are problem two dozen or so apps/programs added since the last May image

Again I have current documents/files backed up that have been created since May by these programs/apps....I know I have to re-install any and all programs that will be missing...

BUT....

After re-imaging back to May...and installing any and all programs that have been installed since the May date...can I simply 'restore' the data/files that are currently saved via image and backup to the newly imaged PC from May after the programs are re-isntalled ?

Hope this make sense....don't mind re-installing programs since May...but don't want to lose the data/files created by this programs since the May image ?

Should be OK.

As you say you will have to reinstall missing programs but you can use your more recent images to restore the data files.
