Hello, all--
I just built a brand new computer about 4 weeks ago. Roughly every 5 days or so, I receive the KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE ERROR BSOD. 4 weeks, 4 BSODs. I'm not thrilled. I'm never in the room when it happens, so it's not like it's crashing in the middle of a game or other heavy load. When I checked the Minidump folders, I haven't been able to find anything. Hopefully the application I downloaded so that I can post here will have valuable information.
I've updated my GPU driver, I've ran Memtest on my RAM (no failures), and I've performed SFC /SCANNOW. I think that the error I'm getting alongside my BSOD is the 0xc000009a, STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES error, but I could be mistaken (that's from memory--last BSOD was a few days ago)
Windows 7--
64 bit, Service Pack 1
This is the only OS I've installed on my SSD, but my HDD is an old one that previously had Windows 7 on it, and Vista before that.
Full Retail version
Hardware is 4 weeks old
This Win 7 install is 4 weeks old as well
System:
Intel Core i5-2500k 1155 LGA
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
MSI N460GTX Hawk GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
OCZ Solid 3 SLD3-25SAT3-60G 2.5" 60GB SATA III MLC
625GB Western Digital WDC WD6400AAKS-65A7B0 ATA Device (SATA) - HDD
I'm at my wit's end. I'm wondering if it's old system files on my HDD that are interfering, not sure. My case averages around 29 degrees C when idle, 35 under load. I've never seen it go above 40, so I don't think it's a heat issue.
I'll appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks!
