    Windows Backup failed

Hello Guys, I was doing a windows backup into a Recovery D Drive. After 13% was done, MSE detected something and I cleaned it. After that, the Windows Backup came up with that error. Did Windows backup fail because of that?

Better you first scan your full computer, then deactive MSE or any other security program, then try the backup process once again. It never failed for me .

You may have another try with Macrium Reflect FREE Edition . A huge number of our members are highly satisfied with this one.

Ok So I did a full scan and removed the virus. Then I was able to do a full backup as well as a system image to an external HD.

I was just wondering if when I do need to use the system image from my external hd (hopefully that time wont come) I can pick and choose it right? Because I am saving both my desktops and laptops image in the same HD.

I am SO confused. I just discovered why I had so many duplicates of photos show up when I uploaded photos to Picasa --- dozens and dozens of shadowfiles! Got rid of them on the C: drive. But the D: drive, Recovery, is still chockful and I cannot get anymore on it. How do you clean THAT out? When I clicked on it, even as an Admin, it just gives a little txt document, but when I looked at it via Computer, and can see the C: and D: ... it's FULL to the max! What's going on and how do I fix it? LOVE your tutorials, btw .... it's how I found out about the shadowfiles! Have NEVER seen that anywhere in the Windows 7 HELP area, but maybe I wasn't looking for those words.
