Windows 7 Backup & Restore Creates Corrupt Zip Files
I have used the Windows 7 Backup utility on two different PC's with 2 different OS (x32, x64) onto a USB drive. Both the PC drives and the USB drive have been through chkdsk without errors. Usually, after 1-3 subsequent backups, the system creates a corrupt backup. i.e., I test by trying to restore a random file from backup, and the system returns "corrupt zip file." Zip utilities confirm this.
Does anyone know what could cause this? Wouldn't the tool verify the zip after creating it?
