Any help please..Can I undo or reverse a WRONG system image.

My gateway laptop with win 7 64 froze up on me in startup. I made a system disk and backups for it and my daughters when I bought them. I have the backup on a simpledrive 500gb. When trying to restore it the only image\backup was Hers. It would not recognize mine(labeled His). Well, having no other option I clicked on Hers and now my gateway thinks its her Acer. My usbs dont work... Please help me save my laptop from becoming a baseball as I'm on deck and my bats on standby :0.
Thank you for any guidance or help

Maybe your backup is hidden because of ntfs permissions, i think if you unhide it, it can be restored to your own laptop.

I cant access the simpledrive with exception that the image rest process does see "Her" image although through the command prompt I could pull up the directory but Thats where my abilities ended.

I am assuming that you used windows image backup. In your original post, you said it was labeled his. If you changed the name of it, that's why it can't see it. It has to be restored to the original name, windowsimagebackup. You can't have 2 files with the same name, so rename hers and then rename yours back to the original name. I know I made a lot of assumptions there, but it is what I think you said.
