I just did an upgrade to resolve windows 7 issues but it made it worse

I had issues with my windows 7 64bit set up and read than upgrading would help fix it. Im sure i read it reinstalls all of the windows 7 files.

Problem is games ran like rubbish after stuttering alot and windows became alittle unresponsive.

Im so annoyed i have to reinstall.

Its about time microsoft got their lazy acts together and create something that would help in this matter.

Or you could do things like cleaning up and defragmenting, scanning for viruses and spyware, making sure you don't install junk software, checking the Event Log or the Device Manager or the Action Center for any problems...

Windows gives you a lot of tools to manage it, and it does a fine job keeping itself in good shape. But the user plays a role in it, too.

Instead of summarily blaming Microsoft for something that may well not even be their fault, why not tell us what exactly your issues are? It's understandable to be frustrated and have the need to vent, but we can only help you if you help us help you.

Or as GlaDOS from the Portal games would say: Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

We don't know you, which is why we have to ask. It's nothing personal. And It would also help if you filled out your system specs.

Had you done a little research you would have discovered it's always better to carry out a clean install rather than an upgrade, the reason being the clean install formats your drive first and removes any problems you may have been experiencing.

A rant against Microsoft makes it less likely people will want to help you.

We're not mind readers, so tell us your problems and we'll do our best to help.
