Windows 7: create system repair disc

when trying to create a system repair disc, i get the following message: system repair disc could not be created, the parameter is incorrect (Ox80070057)

This worked for me. Might work for you.

First click on the start button from the desktop and then go to the run and type the recdisc.exe and hit the OK button.
Now insert the blank disc on your disc drive. And then click on the create disk button.
After clicking on the create disk you will get the confirmation prompt and now you need to click on the close button.
Now your system recovery should start.

You might not have winre where recdisc is expecting it to be. That is sometimes the case with oem machines.

I made a litle app. which should do the job for you - it makes a repair disc and allows adding various apps. like macrium, easeus todo and partition wizrad.

I posted it up on this forum - can't remember where the link is now.
