VSSADMIN does not work on my W7 rigs

I've posted somewhere else before but I still can't find a solution.

    SFC/scannow & vssadmin list shadowstorage

Remember, shadowstorage is used for Restore points AND some System Image stuff (not sure about "backup" as in backing up files at the file level).

Could it be that a restore point needed to be taken and even if your shadowstorage wasn't large enough for it, Win7 said at least ONE restore point has to be allowed regardless.

Did your shadow keep growing each day as restore points are taken in spite of the ceiling you've set for it?

My earlier post in here was in respoinse to someone who had more shadow space allocated then the ceiling they set for it.

Anyway, of all those VSS messages in the event viewer application log, do they offer any insight above the one you have screen printed in your primary post?
