System reserved partition deleted, Restore help

For some reason i have to change my partition table from MBR to GPT. So i made a backup of my c drive using Acronis. But when i tried to restore my Windows, I got a message BOOTMGR missing press cntrl+alt+del to restart. Then i came to know that ultimate edition has a hidden partition called system reserved. Is there any way to restore my windows with same programs and drivers. Something like reinstalling windows 7 x64 ultimate and replacing everything by backup except boot files? Help Please. Thanks in advance.

Can you fill out your system specs so we know what type of hardware you have.

If you have a recovery partition or recovery disks, you should be able to restore to a factory state.

My Laptop model is G570, processor is i5-2430, Graphics card is Intel HD3000, Ram is 4Gb DDR3.
As i mentioned i have repartitioned my hard drive, so cannot restore to factory settings. Made backup of c drive only on dvds

Why did you have to do this?

I still don't know who made your computer.

You should be able to order a set of recovery disks from the manufacturer.

Or you may be able to download an ISO of Windows Ultimate, burn it to a disk, and reinstall using the Product Key on your PC.

Can you locate the Product Key?

Laptop Model: IBM Lenovo G570
Why i have to do this: For installing MAC OSX86 (hobby project for non mac hardware), which needs partition table to be GPT.
Product key: Yes it is located at the bottom of laptop

I am reasonably sure you can download an ISO from here:

And burn it to a disk and then reinstall, using your existing product key.

Be sure to get the exact same version you now have.

Get others to confirm this method will work before you start.

I have just registered for this forum. I am impressed by the forum. Quick replies. I will try that method. Few things i want to clear, my laptop came with windows 7 home basic x64 installed and i used windows anytime upgrade to make it windows 7 ultimate x64. Which version now i need to download to make product key at bottom of laptop work. And by installing windows by this method how can i get all my drivers back

I'm not sure exactly how Anytime Upgrade works, so it may be possible you could download Basic and upgrade to Ultimate without any issues or paying again. Did you get a separate Product Key when you bought the Anytime Upgrade?

If you did, it may be best to download, burn, and install Basic and then use Anytime Upgrade again.

The Windows disk that you download and burn should contain all necessary drivers.

You might want to go to the Lenovo website and download drivers for your model anyway. Put them on a CD or on a USB thumb drive. I'd especially want to get the Ethernet driver so you know you can establish an Internet connection.

When at Lenovo, be sure to choose the right OS--at this point that might be Basic or Ultimate, depending on which you install.

Thanks ignatzatsonic. Now i just need for other comments. I am pretty sure this will work. Actually i was in the search of some shortcut so i used windows 7 recovery disk. But now i have to use proper method.
