Windows 7: Need help on system backup

Hi,

I have a dell laptop, in which i am having two Operating Systems. One windows 7 and windows 2003 server.

Windows 7 is free for personal use.
Windows 2003 server is with SAP BI/BW & BO installed.

My question is,
If i use the back-up procedure using windows 7 login, will i get the backup of both the OS with the SAP installation?

Do you mean "create system image" or "backup" (although you can do a file backup WITH a system image included)?

If you go through either option, prior to the process starting, you WILL be shown which partitions it will backup as part of the "system image". On the create system image screen, it will show a list of the drives that will be included (checkmarked). For the BACKUP path through the Backup and Restore screen, if you check the "include system image" checkbox at the bottom, I believe the next screen will list the names of the partitions that will be included (at bottom). Something like "unnnamed" (reserved) and YOUR OS (whatever you called your C drive).

You will only be able to back up partitions which Windows 7 can see, so if it can't see the partitions with your 2003 on it won't back them up. You would be better off backing up both OSs separately.
