Hello Mitch656

Go to start and type services in the search box. Look for Volume Shadow Copy Service and make sure it's running and set to automatic.
If that doesn't work try this SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Let me know what happened

doubleclick in services on "Volume Shadow Copy Service" and set startup type to "automatic"

But manual is the default setting!! No need to change it. But can you start it succesfully (right click->start)? Stop it afterwards
Starting and stopping the service is managed by software like "make restore point" or "windows backup"

Volume shadow copy is supposed to be "manual", not automatic
