How to extract a VHD Image to The Hard Drive
So I was stupid I relied on the system backup in Windows Server 2008 R2 to manage my backup for my server.
Long story short the server crashed and I was able to get everything back up from an image I made at an earlier time form system backup.
I had system backup saving the information from both of my hard drives but windows will only restore the one with windows installed on it. WTF
Upon looking at my backup disk I can see there are 2 .vhd images in the folder and the sizes seem to be right at where my disk's were before the crash.
How can I send the .vhd image contents back to my hard drive? Is there a piece of software I can use that will restore that image to the drive?
Thank you for your help.
