Hybrid HDD upgrade- moving programs

Prior to upgrade to hybrid 500GB... Had 60GB SSD with a 500GB HDD. Windows 7 on C: (SSD) and programs installed on E: drive (500GB). Did a system image before the upgrade and successfully restored to the new hybrid and existing E: drive. Question- can I clone the E: drive and then move all the programs to the new 500GB hybrid? Then I can use the E: drive for backup and system images. Thanks!
