| | System repair disk required or not Hi, My laptop is 6 months old - sony vaio. Do i require to create System Repair Disc? I have taken back up in external hard drive. Also have created windows 7 backup in three separate DVDs. Best regards, Ravi Davda |

| | Hello Ravi, and welcome to Seven Forums. It would be a good idea to create a set of Sony Vaio factory recovery discs to have as a backup to be able to do a factory recovery of Windows 7 if needed say if you are unable to do so normally from the factory recovery partition on the laptop. View DocumentA system repair disc is not required, but could come in handy as well to be use to try and repair Windows 7 with if you were ever unable to boot into the System Recovery Options screen using F8 at boot.
