I always have that unchecked to and I have never had a problem with the restore from a image. I do not know if it creates two images or it's just one not sure.

Thanks Bongo.
I was just curious about that box. I don't ever remember seeing it in the older version of Reflect.
I am just not sold on this Version 5 of Reflect yet since I have never had to use it to restore an image. Version 4 I used many times to restore and never had a problem with it.
Yes you need to have at least one image of that partition. It contains the boot loader and if your hard disk fails a restore of your C drive will not be sufficient to get a working Windows. You can either make a separate image and keep it safe as it does not usually change or you can do what I do and include it with every image of the C partition. It is only 100MB and adds seconds to the backup. If you do both they are stored in the same image file and both can be restored at the same time.
If you press the "create an image of the partitions required to backup and restore windows" button that partition will be automatically checked.
Thanks kado897 that is great information to know.
