I'm sorry if I offended you but as I am new to the latest windows systems,I don't understand all the differences between repair disc, recovery disc, and installation disc.I'm not well versed with any windows systems beyond the XP series, and not that familiar with XP. Is this the right location for my digital life info ...Windows 7 SP1 English DVD-ISO x86/x64 (full pack MSDN: Ult, Ent, Home, Pro, Starter) [Archive] - My Digital Life Forums my search engine wasn't very distinct with an address. Thanks for any help you can provide.
    I wasn't offended---just confused.

You have the right web site, but the wrong location at that website. I don't see download links at the location you provided.

    Try this:

Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life

Scroll down until you find your exact version. Be sure to get 64-bit or 32-bit, whichever you have.

If you use this to install, you will no longer have whatever other stuff beyond Windows that HP may have included from the factory.
