Way to make a Windows 7 restore disc to USB instead
Currently I can create a Windows 7 restore disk onto a CD or a DVD. Does anyone know if it's possible to create it to a USB drive instead?
Thanks
Josh

Hello Josh, and welcome to Seven Forums.
If you mean this Windows 7 System Repair Disc, then you can use program like ImgBurn or UltraIso (one in tutorial below) to create a ISO file from the DVD and use the same METHOD ONE in the tutorial below to create a bootable USB key with it.
USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create
Hope this helps,

Hello,
I'm sorry for digging this old thread, but my problem is directly related to it.
I want to make a recovery disc on pendrive, but i don't have any cd/dvd drives. I tried to search forums for help, but i couldn't find anything and i didn't want to spam with new topic :)
I'll be happy if someone more experienced can help me, and i hope that digging this thread doesn't bother you :)
Hello Levy, and welcome to Seven Forums.
If you have a friend with 64-bit Windows 7 installed that has a CD/DVD and USB drive, then you could create one on it to be able to also use on yours.
