deleted the recovery partition on my Laptop.

I accidentally deleted the recovery partition on my Hp compaq Presario CQ61 and have never burnt the recovery to a DVD.
Checked Hp Site and the only option is to re-order another.
The serial number of my Notebook is CNF9494GMB & Model is CQ-61420US
Any help in this regard will be appreciated

You might be able to recover the partition with the Partition Wizard Bootable Disk from here:

I think Kaktussoft is suggesting you make a system image and use that as your recovery tool if your computer is working as expected.

You can reinstall windows 7 by using an ISO from Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life

Use the same version as you have now!! (I assume it's home premium X64). Of course in the right language as well. Use the productkey as listed on COA sticker (Certificate Of Authenticity) on the back of notebook.

You can install/update all your hp hardware drivers by installing "HP Support Assistant".

ok, no need to create new topic just follow this thread..

hi there, i got already deleted my recovery partition above partition C because there a list some partition, i installed new Windows 7 Ultimate x64. i dont know that recovery partition cant be created except it is by default from factory and it cant be created by someone dont have third party software. so ho can i create like factory done like a new laptop? i dont want waste my time to burn a DVD for backup.. i just want hit F11(like my laptop reseller said) when booting and he said to me just do that and dont setup or insert a disc. sound like easy but like i said above i already deleted that recovery partition.. oh man how that happen to me.
