    System Restore Missing

I have windows t pro and all of a sudden System restore has disappeared. If I type system restore in the search box, the closest thing I get is "restore your computer to am earlier time". I checked c:\Users\YourName\ApplicationData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools and it's not their either. I have a feeling it was a Paragon Drive Clone program that screwed everything up. It even turned on system protection for one of my other drives. Microsoft Shadow Copy Provider was also off.
    Any ideas..?

    Hello,

System Restore will be located in the folowing location:

    %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe

    See if its in there.

It's there....thanks. Now how do I get it to appear in my programs, or should I just pin it to my start menu?

Click Start> All Programs> Accessories> Right click on System Tools and click explore.

Create a shortcut in there for it.

I would be asking myself why it has been removed... Sometimes its due to a Virus. I would recommend scanning your PC to make sure that you dont have an infection. Malwarebytes is a good free scanner:

I have Malwarebytes premium running along with avast and done thorough scans with both. Something happened when I installed Paragon Drive Copy Pro. It messed up a LOT of things such a turning ON system restore for one of my external HDDs.
