Lost User profile and I'm not sure what else.
I got this machine like 3 years ago with windows vista original and updated to Windows 7.
I put a folder on C: caled OldHd containing files from my old computer that I would go through eventually (eg: my documents folders containing game saves and favorites and such.)
Yesterday I went through it and there was much I didn't need. So I deleted this folder. (C:\OldHD)
Now I lost my user profile - my favorites, my games saves ect.- that have nothing to do with that folder, or at least should have had nothing to do with that folder.
Question: Where in the system are my user profile info (favs, game saves, ect.) supposed to be, and could they still be there?
If they are still on the machine, how do I make them active?
Note: the result of the folder deletion has cleared my Libraries folder to nothing.
There is only one user on the machine, not several, and I don't have password access required.
If there is an easy quick fix, I would love to know it. My present plan involves reinstalling the programs that used data from the Libraries.
