    Windows Setup Error

    Hi,
My computer has been running slow these past few weeks, so I decided to do a restore. It all seemed to be be fine, until it restarted itself, loaded the first screen then pauses before 'Windows Setup' comes up with a silver underline. This seems to be loading windows until an error message pops up, 'windows cannot be found, computer will restart'

This happens over and over. The only thing I can access is set-up, which has no options. I have tried using a repair disc but it won't load it. I have tried using safe mode, etc - but nothing works.

    What kind of restore?
Also, please fill out your system specs by doing this: System Info - See Your System Specs

It was a system restore, not the factory default one.

I will try to find the specs, its difficult because I cannot use the computer.

Try starting up your pc and tap f8 repeatedly until the Windows Advanced Options Screen comes up. Then, select repair your computer. Go through the steps until you come up with the screen that has starytup repair at the top entry. Highlight startup repair and press enter. You may have to do this multiple times.
