How do you fix system restore volume shadow service error?

    Try running system Restore to the time before all of this started happening from Repair Your computer. Repair your computer is the same thing you open for startup repair, but instead of clicking on startup repair, click on system restore.

    Okay i will try this i dont want to REINSTALL WINDOWS dont have blank cds and not want to loose all the stuff. Have alot of files have big gig dont want to redownload.

    put the whole hardrive or stuff you dont want to delete or keep backup file?

    Use USB sticks or an external USB drive. Both are very reasonable alternatives. With an external drive, then after your fresh install be sure to make a system image backup using Win 7.

    Backup all dataq dear to your heart.

    You use your Win 7 DVD to install Win 7.
