What recovery CD has most drivers for old hardware?

Sorry for being a bit off-topic - not related directly to Windows 7.

I've been asked to check out server that won't boot and attempt to recover some files from hard drive. It is Dell, about 7-9 years old, don't know the model at this time but I know that one drive SCSI, another is IDE. File system is NTFS. No raid used.

What boot CD has most drivers, especially for old hardware like that? The goal is to boot, see if hard drives can be read and copy certain files on USB drives.

I own Acronis, so will try it; also burned live CD for Ubuntu and Fedora. Is there anything else I should try?

    Joe,
You can use SIW to gather info about the computer.

Link to SIW in my signature.

After getting that info, then I recommend visiting the Dell site and feeding in the model nr, etc.

At the Delll site they will either have drivers for you or say, sorry, too old.

If, and only if the Dell site fails, then I suggest:
