Windows 7: I appear to have mess with system reserved & backup error 0x81000019

Hi there,

I am using windows backup, saving disk (C: ) and (E: ) (plus the system reserved I think not sure) to disk (F: ).

I recently have error 0x81000019 for the windows backup.

Disk "windows installation SSD" (C: ) has no system reserved partition
Disk "User/games"(E: ) has a system reserved partition 33% free space
Disk "Backup" (F: ) has a system reserved partition 70% free space (does the backup make this partition or is it junk from something?)

Could you please help me to clean this up and to have system reserved on the (C: ) disk. Plus to future proof from the error 0x81000019 stopping the backup.

I afraid to ruin the boot.

In your case your system active is the 2nd disk (Disk 1) and not your SSD. Also this system reserved has only 37 MB free space. You should have system reserved (active) on Drive 0.
The easiest solution would be to disconnect the 2nd & third HDDs. Mark your SSD active and Run startup repair 3 times using a system repair CD you make from the "Backup & Restore" screen.
or else use Easy BCD
Bootmgr - Move to C:\ with EasyBCD

Connect spinners and mark other partitions inactive. You can use a program like Partition Wizard to recover the redundant system reserved partitions on the spinners.

Thanks all, it was fixed now.
Although in the process I unallocated my entire data disk, thankfully partition wizard could fix it.
Unfortunately it (probably I) could not completely remove the system reserved partitions below 8mb for some reason. Instead I just copied the data and reformated etc.

The system disk has no specific reserved partition, I suppose it won't matter? I don't believe I will be doing such as dual booting here.
