Windows 7 boot up screen needs to be restored

Greetings. I am in a bit of dilema here. When my windows 7 bootmanager failed to load, I did a system repair which successfully restored Windows, however i lost my W7 boot up screen which was replaced by the Vista one. I read all your threads regarding restoring the W7 Boot screen, & followed them to the letter using cmd prompt in elevated mode. All were completely unsuccessful. Is there any other method of restoring this .I have done a chkdsk, & all seems well with the OS, but whenever I try system repair, It comes up as saying there are errors on the disk & it would take at least an hour to repair, & that it might restart several times during this process. however only a few seconds later it successfully boots into windows ( using the Vista boot screen ) I have done this a few times now & wish i could get my W7 boot screen back. Many thanks for your help in advance .
    Kind regards

You might try a startup repair: Startup Repair - created by Brink

A repair install, or startup repair? if you did a repair install, sorry you had to go through the mess, but glad it came out alright
