Windows 7 easy transfer wizard in a domain enviroment
I am installing some new PC's running Windows 7 pro 64bit. I will be needing to transfer some PCs that are currently in a domain and save everything to the server. Has any one ever used the easy transfer wizard to do this before. I would really appreciate your input. By reading some google searchs it seems what I need to do first is make all old PC's administrator accounts and then create the same user in the same domain as the old user on the new PC. I should be able then to use easy transfer wizard to do its thing over the network. Anyone ever done this before? I would appreciate if you have to please list me down the steps you took to make it work.
