Does backup normally take 5-9 hours to complete?

    Hey,

I was just wondering. If I wanted to do a Backup with a System Image and my OS Data and my Libraries, is it normal for your backup to take 5-9 hours to complete that entirely?

It depends how much data you are backing up. It looks like you are doing both a system image and a file/folder backup. Also, your PC isn't that powerful.
Maybe post a full screenshot of your HDD from "Disk Management"

That amount of time would drive me nuts. You may need to restructure your data and adopt a couple of backup procedures.

    I agree with MJF.
You have an awful lot of data to be backed up.

I backup my OS once a week ( 63 GB) and it takes 30 minutes with verification.

I would move your libraries to another hdd and only keep your OS and programs on your C drive.

    You should also add memory.
If you aren't using the Seagate Discwizard, try it - it's free for Seagate users and employs the Acronis program.

MJF and PSC If I add the System Image plus the OS and Libraries content it would be around 70 GB. Whenever it does complete I can tell with the backup size that all my data has not been backed up. It always takes around 5 or more hours to do..

Also how do I post a screenshot of my HDD?

This is a Seagate GoFlex 1TB Desktop Hardrive.

What program are you using to backup?
When I use Acronis, the file is compressed from about 70gb to 25 gb and everything from my C drive is there.

I don't use a program. I back it up from my Control Panel - System and Security - Backup and Restore

When you run the program, close all other programs.
You would probably be better off to do a clean boot and then do the backup.

Good luck - let us know how it worked out.
