Well absolutely, I agree, so what do we do first?

Sounds like I did misunderstand you.

Could you spell out for me, simpleton-style what I should do now?

    Thank you,

    Richard

This may fix it A Windows 7 or a Windows Server 2008 R2 image deployment process stops when you try to deploy the image on another computer
But you can't install it because windows7 doesn't boot ;-(
Upgrade install doesn't work because it has to be done from within win7
    Upgrade Install with Windows 7

    Hi,

Tried multiple times to safemode my way in, but windows 8 doesn't have it, and when I selected windows 7 and the recovery 7, after the restart F8 wouldn't respond.

    So basically no safemode.

Can I get to it with a windows 7 bootable disc? Perhaps the preinstallation enviromnent will lead me to safemode somehow.

By the way, what do you want me to do with AIK and macrium reflect?

WAIK not needed. Macrium reflect is a perfect backup tool. use that Imaging with free Macrium but not now!! First fix the problem and sysprep

    Hi Kaktussoft,

Yes lenovo, but yes there are programs/data/docs/videos.

I installled windows 7 after buying this machin 3 weeks ago, and could only get windows file transfer to work on it. All the images I'd burned from previous laptop (not a lenovo) didn't work - that's why, after I had reinstalled windows from fresh, and then files transfer, and then reinstalled - one after one, all my programs, and then customised my settings for each program, I was finally fed up and tried to make a sysprep back up.

will try the f8 thing that way.
