Cant find System restore while running multipoint.
Just installed Microsoft multipoint and now I want to restore. I made a restore point before I installed multipoint so now I want to use it but when I go to start>accessories>system tools - Its not there. Even if I type in "System restore" in the start menu nothing comes up so did multipoint disable or remove it? (i am in maintenance mode)

The tutorial below can help show you how to restore the missing "System Restore" shortcut in your Start Menu. It may have just been deleted by mistake.
Hello, thanks for replying but this didnt help. The first link I cant do any of the steps 1-4 and for the second it doesn't have any help for this problem. I did find something though odd under - system properties > advanced > startup and recovery > settings;

For step 1 in OPTION ONE, do you have the C:\Windows\System32\rstrui.exe file?
Are you able to use OPTION TWO in the tutorial to do a system restore at boot instead?
No, and no. I think the reason why theres no restore option is because this program is used for teacher (im using for gaming) and they removed the option so a student couldent wipe the teachers computer. But just saying since ive installed this I havnt touch the system 32 folder at all.
Heres a picture under my "System and recov" tab dont know if it helps but here anyway

If this computer is joined to a domain, then you'll have to talk to the domain administrator to make any changes. There's nothing you'll be able to do.

The grayed out Write an even to the system log option under "System failure" in "Startup and Recovery" just indicates that events are already written to the system event log.
What happens when you try to do a system restore at boot?
Seems like the C:\Windows\System32\rstrui.exe file was deleted if it's not there. You could try running a sfc /scannow command to see if it may be able to restore it.
