Win 7 Crash, can't restore from cmd prompt

Win 7 Pro SP1 32 bit, crashed this a.m. Attempted start up repair several times, says registry is corrupt. Have attempted system restore via install CD, on screen where to check hard drive, C drive shows up but won't accept check mark in box. Trying system restore in command prompt window, was able to get to C: but it doesn't recognize rsturi.exe as an internal or external command.

Do I have a prayer of restoring this, or am I done? I am not a pro at all, know just enough to be dangerous. Appreciate any help!
