What error message did you get when it failed? " No error message, simply you canīt! You click in the image then if you try to restore it, the only possible destination is C (the ssd)! You can make backups and restore from same physical disk (if different image is in partition). Works when macrium reflect is run from usb, harddisk and cd. But now my problem... I made an macrium reflect rescue on usb harddrive. Then I added some network drivers to \drivers\network And they weren't loaded automatically!! Only when I did "other tasks" (or was it tools)-> "view unsupported devices" and did a scan. Pretty strange |

| | Yes, it works on when plugged via usb2! Not via usb3! Yes, strange! Do you have the free version too? I think they want us to buy the paid version :-). (which is fair...I mean the paid should have more functionalities) |

I did it a few hours ago from rescue CD. Can you try that? And do the same when attached to usb3.0 Post results |

But I have lots of free space. Restore to dissimilar hardware. But I can inject new drivers needed prior to making backup as well. Of course not if motherboard fails all of sudden and have to buy new motherboard. |
