Error 0x80780043 when trying to burn image to new SSD
I have a 128 GB SSD that is my OS drive (7 Home Premium x64). I recently got a 256 GB SSD that I want to use instead. I used the Windows System Image creator thingy and I have burned an image to an external hard drive. I also created a recovery disc.
When I unplug the old SSD and start the recovery, things proceed well. I choose the appropriate system image from the external hard drive, it sees my 256 GB SSD, and I tell it to go. I then immediately get an error saying "Volume for backup location does not match the shadow copys original volume for that location. 0x80780043"
I have no idea what that means. can anyone help?
Both SSDs are OCZ. I had them both plugged in to the computer at one point, and windows sees them both. The new one is not partitioned - it is one big drive. I don't know if I need to change that.
Thanks for any help.
