    Acronis Modus Operandi


    Hi Folks, I had Acronis installed before I created a new Admin account and demoted myself to a Standard user.
    Should I do a backup from the Admin or Standard account.?

    You would have run it from the Admin account I believe. Just as with Windows 7's own backup only running with admin privilege. I believe it will have to be run from admin, as standard users do not have access to a lot of files. A Guy

    Hi A Guy,
    I have not tried running Acronis yet, but have used Auslogics Defrag and was asked for the admin password before it would open. Will try Acronis next time I'm on my Laptop.

Hi there For current Acronis users the upgrade to 2011 IMO is well worth the small price (approx 25 EUR). New USB 3.0 support, direct conversion of .tib into .vhd files (great for P2V and V2P conversions of Virtual Machines) plus all the other stuff you would expect from a robust backup...
My PC has motherboard: Asus M3A76-CM and a video card ATI Radeon HD3000. OS = Windows 7. When its going in to Sleep modus and when i then activate it by keyboard or mouse the PC comes alive but the monitor stays at sleep. Only by taking the power compleet of and starting compleet up the monitor...

in Backup and Restore

Is there anybody using acronis true image home 2010 v13 on a win 7 32bit I prefer to BU only one partition with the OS on and not the other 2 partitions with data! It goes much faster than the win 7 BU .
