| Win7 H.Prem. 32bit+SP1 1,780 posts Scotland | Acronis Modus Operandi Hi Folks, I had Acronis installed before I created a new Admin account and demoted myself to a Standard user. Should I do a backup from the Admin or Standard account.? |

| Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 32,101 posts Bay Area Peninsula | You would have run it from the Admin account I believe. Just as with Windows 7's own backup only running with admin privilege. I believe it will have to be run from admin, as standard users do not have access to a lot of files. | Win7 H.Prem. 32bit+SP1 1,780 posts Scotland | Hi A Guy, I have not tried running Acronis yet, but have used Auslogics Defrag and was asked for the admin password before it would open. Will try Acronis next time I'm on my Laptop. |
