| | Backup and Restore failure I have had my Dell XPS 15 laptop for coming up a year (warranty expires in about a week). I have previously backed up "Files in libraries and personal folders for selected users, selected folders and system image" without problems to my 500GB iomega eGo portable external hard drive, and yet when I tried to do it today, it didnt work, and came up with this error message: A shadow copy could not be created. Please check "VSSS" and "SPP" application event logs for more information. Details: The specified object was not found. It said the error code for this was 0x81000019. When I checked Event Viewer, I found the following message: The backup operation that started at '2012-10-17T09:03:15.209340300Z' has failed with following error code '2155348269'. Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved. I know little about the detailed workings of computer, so the event details just confused me. PLEASE HELP!! Any suggestions are appreciated!!  |
