how to make recovery stop saving all my files

before i update to windows seven my recovery was not full now it full i deleted the back and now i want it to stop saving all of my files like pictures, video, program file, etc

The easiest way I can think of to do that is to create a new data partition and save your pictures, videos, documents there, instead of on your C partition. The installed program files have to stay with your C partition. After that you can create system images of just your OS and installed programs. I would still advise that you backup your other data as well, preferably on an external HDD, or DVD.
