Windows 7: SSD Trim Backup Issues

SSD Trim Backup Issues

I had accidentally deleted a large folder by accident from my SSD about 9 gigs and it skipped the recycle bin because it was too large. I realized my mistake and pressed cancel however the folder was just about empty.

I immediately did recovery and it only found a few files. Tried several other programs and only found a few files. I then did a system restore and it brought back all of the folders that were within that folder, however none of the files so basically i had folders and files in the deleted folder and only the folders were recovered. Well most of the folders to be exact.

I connected the SSD to my desktop to try and perform deep scans. However it seems as though the drives disappear from windows as they are no longer shown in comp or device manager. I restarted and they are there but disappear again. I changed the sata and power cable and it still does it. My desktop is fine as i have 3 large hard drives that work fine, so the problem is definitely with the SSD.

Aside from the deleted folder the laptop with the SSD was also fine. I would get occasional freezes but i have been using it for a while and heavily too, so it puzzles me that when i remove it from the laptop and 2 hrs later put it in the desktop it starts acting weird.
