Need Some Help Rcovering Lost Files

Hello Everyone, as you can probably tell from my title, I've gotten myself into a bit of a jam. I tried to reinstall Windows 7, and thought I had made sure to back up everything I would need, but appantly I missed some things, as I am missing almost all of my programs. In the process of reinstalling, I got a message that a backup would be installed.

Now while I try to get everything back together, I noticed that there is a new partition "RECOVERY (E:)". Is there any way to use this to restore everything, or possibly another method?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

a backup would be installed it didn't create a backup of what you have. It made a backup partition in advance in case of an error I am afraid if you reinstalled and didn't back it up then it's gone.

A Recovery partition can be used for a reinstall. Depending on the make of your PC, the procedures differ. Here is a description of a few recovery procedures by make: Windows 7 Recovery Partition - Windows 7
