Help with windows 7 system restore

I have tried to restore my laptop since it isn't working. When i try to go to safe mode, my laptop restarts itself. The restore disk isn't working for some reason and when i try to go to the repair menu, it stops at the blue screen without options to fix it. Can someone please tell me how i can restore my laptop another way?

    System restore problem

You can actually try to do the system recovery by accessing the hidden partition in your computer so you dont need the disk to reload your OS.

    BSOD fix

Well, I've been a tech support for toshiba laptop, so you need to press and hold 0 (zero) button on your keyboard while restarting your laptop. Then after you the windows logo, it will go directly to system recovery screen. You just need to follow the step or hit next, next, next. then it will reload your OS, sometimes it takes 30-45 mins, it actually depends on your computer. If you see the same error message while doing the system recovery. I suggest to call the manufacturer of that laptop and use your warranty to fix that.

This process is useful but every laptop has secret buttons for accessing recovery screen. Here's the list

Toshiba – Press and hold ’0′ key.
    Dell – Press F8 or Ctrl+F11
    Acer – Press Alt+F10
    Compaq – Press F11
    BenQ – Alt+F10
    Asus – F9
    Sony Vaio – Alt+F10

I tried that but the screen said "Please wait a moment" for two hours and did nothing and my warranty expired. Any other tips?
