| | Has restore been improved in Windows 7? Everytime I've used Restore in Windows Me or XP it never worked correctly. Since I've installed Windows 7, I had one issue and was thinking about doing a restore but instead, I just did a reinstall. If I have a backup and a system image, is Restore a viable option for fixing/diagnosing problems? On my previous install I had a driver issue and just wiped the drive clean and started over. |

| | I have used Resore Points several times with Windows 7 and it has always helped. It's a great option but not a replacement for a complete backup. I use it normally when I have been doing something on my computer and it doesn't work out like it should. I just go to a Restore Point reboot and update things that need updating. |
