Windows 7: error in making partition

hello,
I got new laptop few days before. yesterday i was making 2 more partition. my C drive in which windows 7 has been installed had 500GB of space.



so by using external application, i had decreased its size to 300GB. but from that time, some files has been corrupted. I cannot access that files now.. not even C drive.. I dont have recovery disc.

What do i do now??? plz help.....

1. what was that 'external application' you have used

2. you may have to reinstall from the recovery partition. What is the make of your PC

3. You can use the bootable CD of Partition Wizard (last entry on the page). Burn that to CD and boot with the CD. Take a good readable picture of the screen and post the picture here. We'll have a look what might be going on.

i hv used this application.....
n i dnt hv recovery partition.....

I'll post the photos soon...... my system files has corrupted....so can i get those files repair by updating OS or by some other way???

Not sure whether you can repair. Depends on the damage that was done. But you could do a clean reinstall: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
