Restoring a Windows 7 Home Premium Image onto Windows 7 Professional
Here's the background of my story:
My current computer is running Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Last night my hard drive started giving me the "click of death". Luckily, I created a backup image 3 days ago. I was able to obtain a spare hard drive from my old ASUS that was running Vista Home Premium (x64). Since I never purchased a copy of windows and don't have my computer restore disks on hand, I figured I would take advantage of the perk the IS program at my university is offering of a free download of Windows 7 Professional (x64).
My question is, if I upgrade to 7 Professional, will the 7 Home Premium image be good or not?
