    Restore Points

    Hi,
Every time when I create my own restore point after some time this "restore point" disappeared, and I have few new ones but this one which I create in the moment when I was satisfied about my computer working so perfect is not existing anymore. This happened already few times, and I was really disappointing. Can someone help me to solve this issue? Perhaps I can save this exactly restore point in location. When is going to stay as long as I need it or maybe is another way to make this point not to be deleted?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!
    P.S.

    Hello Zungul,

Unfortunately, restore points do not stay saved permanently. When the set maximum storage space for restore points runs out, the oldest restore point(s) get deleted automatically to make room for new ones.

If you like, you could use the tutorial below to increase the maximum storage space to be able to keep more restore points available until space runs low again.
    Hope this helps, :)

    Hi,
Thanks for a tutorial, but I really want to save my one restore point in another location to be able to use it if would something bad happened to my system.
I have set up everything perfect and I want this point to be my major one.
it is not point to make bigger storage space because in one moment it will be full and is going to delete my restore point as a old one and usually this thing happen in the moment when you don't expect it.
    P.S.
Maybe there is some program which I can use to create windows restore point and save them in location which I choose for it

You should not rely on restore points for that. I suggest you make images. Those you can store on any internal or external disk. And since you manage the images yourself, you can keep them as long as you like.

    Zungal,

As Wolfgang posted above, you should not rely on restore points for what you are wanting.

Macrium Reflect is a great choice with plenty of flexibility.

If you like, you could also use the built-in system image feature in Windows 7 as well, but it's not as flexible.
