    Force default DVD installation/repair.

Is there a command line you can run from the DVD to basically copy over all default files that's from the disc and reset the registry?

No. The files on the DVD are compressed installation files, so even if you copied them to the hard disk, that would not do what you want.

If you tell us WHY you want to do this, perhaps we can help solve the underlying problem in other ways.

So there is no way to get a Win 7 OS near first time install fresh without reinstalling it fully?

Why? I have reinstalled XPvister7 at least 100 times in my life, I want a faster way to recover from eventual bloat slow down and general corruption.

Mmmm Would Norton ghost do the program I need to make a backup that dose not overnight everything?
