I don't think its possible on win7 to do an undelete without 3rd party software.

I have used Recuva to restore files that have been deleted. I know that it is possible to install on a USB drive and run from there to prevent write-over. Recuva - Portable version

There is an easy trickk to do it. Without extra software! All deleted files where in same folder? Or some folder tree?

You still know the folders and folders are still there? You still know the file names?

I hope there's a restore point on your machine, so you can go back in time. Restore points are created when installing/uninstalling programs or winodws updates
    • right click the folder the file was in. Click "restore previous version". Select a point in time just before you deleted it. Now click open (NOT RESTORE!). Now you see the old state of that folder. You can drag and drop files/folders from that state to the real folder.

If there is a restore point... then you can see what it was like on that date/time. Works? How older the file how more likely the restore is possible
