INFO: rcu_sched self-detected stall on CPU { 0} (t=60000 jiffies)

I decided NOT to get rid of my old Compaq computer and am trying to log onto. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the password as I haven't used it since sometime in 2011. I downloaded a program called Magic Rescue Sweet which is supposed to allow you to make a CD from which your computer can boot and enable you to reset the admin password... I followed the instructions and arranged for the Bios to bood first from the CD, then I rebooted my computer and it's been on this black screen forever with the same repeding codes which mean nothing to me. Only thing that changes is the number after the = sign in the parenthesis. I've been waiting for like 4 hours! How much longer will it take for my computer to get to a poing where I can try to log on?? Is there any other way I can reset an admin password. I don't have any recovry disks made for this computer. I have had it since 2004, an back then I knew far less and didn't take as good care as i should have with it, but I'm interested in working on it now. The computer has a silly week AMD Sempron processor and I think the motherboard is Samsung? Please help me!!
